Sure ya can That space on the left , then go down to edit profile ( not beside your picture ,, below that) click on it and you can change about everything,.

When your under your home page just go down to where it say change my "Top Friends" once you click on that, the ones highlighted in red, are the ones you already have on your top friends. All you have to do is drag and click to replace one of your existing top friends, or how ever many friends you want to replace. Hope I helped!!

There may be a confliction in your browser that's preventing you from doing that - you should close the entire thing and restart the browser again.
